The NHL’s Sun Tanning Program in Vancouver is now officially in its second year.
As a result, the program will continue to operate in its current location, the Westin Vancouver Hotel, as the league expands its offerings to more cities.
“Our partnership with Sun Tan is about more than just one sport.
It’s about building relationships and building relationships across a broad range of industries, from our corporate partners, our community partners, to our employees and to our fans.
It will help us continue to grow our brand, continue to build new markets, and continue to expand our reach across Canada,” said David Bratman, NHL Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
“Sun Tanning is the first of many partnerships the NHL will have to explore, both in the U.S. and across Canada.
We are proud to be able to offer this important service to our fan base and players across the country.”
The program will now operate in Vancouver’s downtown core, which includes the West Hotel, the Convention Centre, and the Olympic Stadium.
Sun Tannering, which started in 2012 and is now expanding to cities across the U, is a one-stop shop for professional athletes and athletes in all sports, including hockey, baseball, golf, ice hockey, football, rugby league, soccer, lacrosse, and hockey and soccer-specific apparel.
“We’re very excited to be bringing this brand to Vancouver,” said Kevin Burke, general manager of the Vancouver Sun.
“I think the brand has been really well-received across the board, and it’s exciting to be working with a brand that’s so well-loved across the hockey community.”
